Marc! in Barcy qualies

Anyone going to the Barcelona tournament? Show up early to insure you see Marc! He’s in the qualifying draw.

I need help.

No. Seriously. I need help.

Marc! out of the Athens Open

(Yeah, the news is a few days late, but it’s difficult to find out who’s playing what tournament on the Challenger’s tour. Oh, and okay…I didn’t think to check until now.)

Looks like Marc! had a sucky day on the 9th – he lost in both the singles and doubles at the Athens Open. From the singles match write up it sounds like he put up a good fight, though.

Number 2 seed Denis Istomin overcame Marc Lopez and advanced to the quarterfinal.

The player from Uzbekistan had to save 7 (out of 10) break points during the 2 hour match to subdue the resistance of Lopez 7-5, 7-6(5). The Spaniard had 9 aces in his 12 service games. Denis said: “It was a hard test for my next matches which might be even more difficult. This victory over a clay court specialist like Lopez increases my confidence for the next matches”.

Now to figure out where the heck he’s playing next…

Miami photos

I had the pleasure of watching Marc! and some other guy play their second doubles match in Miami. Sadly, they lost, but they did look darn cute while doing it.

More photos can be found in my flickr set.

Marc! in Miami

Marc! was in the house for for that other guy’s round 2 match:
Marc!

He wasn’t there the next round because he was probably busy preparing for the night’s doubles…which he and that other guy lost. Pictures of that to come later after I sort through the 1000s that I have.

Victory!

Marc! and that other guy won their match today. They beat Brunstrom and Rojer 6-2 7-6(7-5) in the first round in Miami. The cuteness continues.

Meri knows what to do…

…when she finds Marc! on her hard drive…she sent him off to us! Here’s Marc and some other guy hanging out at the Doha tournament.

And here he is hanging out at a bar called Bauxa with a bunch of other guys.

Thanks for sharing a little bit of Marc! with the world, Meri.

Is it too late to book a flight to Miami?

Marc! and that other guy will be playing doubles in Miami. Here’s the draw.

Marc!

I know, you are saying, Marc! who? And why the exclamation point? Well…you see…we aren’t entirely sure. We just know he’s one half of the cutest doubles team evah and whenever you type his name you must include the ! because he’s so smiley and awesome.
